Follow Up
This is a follow up to the main post regarding this coral trying to frag itself. Rather than have lots of posts (depending on how long it takes) I will update this page and add to the slider so that you can see the progress.
First thing to note is that the hole in the centre has now closed. When I saw that it was closing a week or so ago I though that I had been wrong and it wasn’t actually self fragging but after looking at it again there appears to be a new foot growing. I now believe (at the moment!) that the hole was the coral actually creating the beginning of the foot and if I’m right this will slowly descend to find something to hold onto before the head begins to frag again?
Take a look at the pictures and see what you think. If anyone has an opinion then please let me know.
