Sometimes when you walk into your local aquarium shop you are drawn to the unexpected and this is what happened here. I wanted to add a dash of colour to the Aquascape and as I was looking at the the different options of green and more green this little orange disc gleamed like a beacon! I really had no choice and I’m really happy that it’s mine. It should get up to three inches in diameter and might have a shuffle around but I think by some sort of cosmic coincidence that the space at the fron of my reef is not only the ideal place but the right size – unless it tells me differently and shuffles off.

Gallery

The gallery shows, from top left corner moving clockwise:

1. Close up of the tentacles

2. Royal Gramma trying to steal the shot!

3. Top down looking at mouth after being fed a little mysis

4. “Night time” lit by LED blue moonlight.

About the Author
Not much to say really other than I had a reef tank about 6 years ago and decided to get back into it but on a smaller scale. Harder work offset by a cheaper entry point on equipment and stocking! Then I had an idea about running a diary of what happens on a ...daily (!) basis. And here we are: All thoughts, comments, cakes and coffee gratefully accepted (",)
